Security Staff At Eyesight Security
Getting the right security staff with the right mindset is crucial.
In fact, we believe that all security officers should undergo rigorous personality profiling to determine if an individual's temperament, ethics and communication skills are suitable for a career in the security industry.
We believe good communication is the most overlooked attribute in a security provider's arsenal and we work hard to nurture this skill.
Our screening process includes:
- Employment or Military history
- Criminal background information
- Drug screening
- Driving record
- English proficiency
- Three personal references
Many of our senior personnel have come from law enforcement, military and education sectors, and bring with them a range of invaluable skills.
Our junior personnel are using security as a springboard to move into similar fields e.g. Federal or general police force, defence, paramedics and SES.
All security personnel employed by Eyesight Security are qualified with the following levels of training:
- Certificate III in Security (Guarding/Crowd Control)
- Level II First Aid (minimum)
- Understand and have signed Confidentiality Undertaking Policy, Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Policy and OH&S Policy.
Our personnel receive ongoing training throughout the course of their employment, ensuring they constantly update their skills to avoid apathy and complacency.
Bouncers with a 'punch-first' mentality will not meet our high standards. In fact we have a 'no-hit' policy and use proactive methods to engage with patrons long before there is even an issue.
